What is the Solar for Low Income Households Program?
According to the ACT Government, this solar program offers:
- A rebate of up to 50% (will be capped at $2500) for the installation of a rooftop solar PV system.
- An interest-free loan with no deposit that can be paid back over a 3 year period.
The eligibility criteria for this subsidy includes, but is not limited to:
- Holding an active Australian Government Pensioner Concession Card
- Owning a home in the ACT
- Currently do not have a rooftop solar PV system already installed
